Lenox Hill Hospital Physicians Featured as Among City’s Best in New York Magazine's “Best Doctors” Issue

New York Magazine recognized 95 Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital physicians as among New York City's finest in its 2012 “Best Doctors” magazine and its online survey. 

Dr. Stuart Orsher, a Lenox Hill Hospital internist was featured in “Ask a Best Doctor,” a medical advice column in which physicians from the magazine’s Best Doctors lists answer readers’ health- related questions. 

This year’s issue featured 1,160 physicians selected from Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, a New York City research and information company which publishes an annual guidebook listing physicians determined by Castle Connolly to be in the top 10 percent of the region’s physicians – more than 5,600 in all. According to New York Magazine, Castle Connolly provides the magazine with a shorter version of the list for its Best Doctors issue.

Lenox Hill and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat physicians are featured in many specialties reviewed in the magazine including cardiology, dermatology, interventional cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, otolaryngology/head and neck surgery, psychiatry, radiology, surgery, plastic surgery and vascular surgery.
