Since the Alumnae Association was established on June 3,1899, the Alumnae Association of Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing has been and continues to be an active association for the benefit of the graduates of the Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing.
Originally known as the German Hospital Training School for Nurses, the first graduating class in 1888 had only four students. 85 years and over 3,000 graduates later, the Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing closed after " The Last of the Best " graduated in 1973.
Our Alumnae Association is still active with three Board of Directors meetings held each year on the second Monday of May, September and December. The annual meeting is in May and the Gala Luncheon is in October.
We encourage our alumnae to attend and participate in meetings to ensure the continuance of our Alumnae Association.
The new meeting dates for 2014: May 12, September 8, and December 8 at 3PM. October 19, 1PM - 5PM is our annual alumnae luncheon in Einhorn Auditorium. We encourage alumnae to attend and participate in our board meeting to assure the continuance of our association.

Lenox Hill Hospital Nurse's Aid Society
The Lenox Hill Hospital Nurse's Aid Society was established in 1910 for the benefit of the Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing graduates and any other nurse who has worked at Lenox Hill for at least 5 years . You can apply to join Lenox Hill Hospital Nurse's Aid Society with an initial application fee of $15.00 and annual dues of $10.00 per year thereafter. If you are unable to work because of injury, surgery, or sickness, you can apply for financial assistance from the Lenox Hill Hospital Nurse's Aid Society.
The Board of Directors meets three times a year on the second Monday of May, September, and our annual meeting is in December.
