Graduate of A.M.A approved Respiratory Therapy program. College degree: B.S. or B.A. required. Masters level such as M.B.A., M.P.H. or M.S. preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory or managerial experience directly related to Respiratory Therapy in a similar sized hospital (600 beds). Knowledge and experience with the latest technological advances in all types of respiratory therapy equipment modalities including mechanical ventilators, oxygen and aerosol therapy, blood gas equipment, cardiac monitors, defibrillators and sterilization systems. Knowledge of MS Word, presentation and spread sheet. NYS Respiratory Therapist License required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RAT) by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
