![]() | This is an opportunity for graduates of Schools of Nursing who have not yet taken the NCLEX exam (Interns) and current Nursing Students from a Baccalaureate or Associate Degree Nursing Program (Student Nurse Assistants) to gain more hands on clinical experience in Nursing. Participants work side by side with a Registered Nurse and apply theoretical knowledge to everyday patient care situations. Those selected for this highly competitive 8 week clinical experience attend a special orientation program and participate in weekly lectures on clinical topics presented by experts in the field of Healthcare. The Interns and Student Nurse Assistants are part of a professional team where the individual will strengthen his/her critical thinking ability, enhance their Nursing Assessment and technical skills while building confidence in how to be a bedside nurse. |

Nurses from all over the world are welcome to come to Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Institute to speak with staff members and attend lectures and conferences related to Healthcare. In the recent past, both students and professional nurses have come from the United States, England, Holland, Japan, and Africa to visit our institution, gain knowledge and share their experiences with staff members.
