Our gastroenterologists and hepatologists at Lenox Hill Hospital specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, and rectum with an emphasis on advance therapeutic endoscopy.
We utilize the latest advances in endoscopic equipment to provide you with the most comprehensive care possible. Our staff members annually perform more than 10,000 minimally invasive endoscopic procedures, including upper endocopy, colonoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography and ERCP. We are often the first in New York City to pioneer and develop new technology and our center is a premier training site for other doctors throughout the region.
The medical team at the CATE performs over 9,000 endoscopic cases annually. Its focus is the minimally invasive and multi-disciplinary management of conditions considered to be too complex or too high risk to be handled elsewhere. With diagnostic excellence in early detection and treatment, the CATE has a regional and national reputation that is supported by the outstanding resources at Lenox Hill Hospital.
