The Department of Surgery offers a full range of surgical specialties within five sections. These include General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Urology. Surgical patients not requiring an overnight stay receive medical and nursing care in the Joan K. Stout, R.N., Ambulatory Surgery Center. This spacious center has state-of-the-art minimally invasive technology and comfortable pre- and post-operative lounges and a family waiting room.
