About 10 to 15% of newborns require some form of specialty care. Lenox Hill Hospital has one of the premiere Level 3 Neonatal care facilities, allowing our physicians to provide expert care in even the most complex cases.
The Department of Pediatrics is able to provide this outstanding level of care not only because of its state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit, but also because of its team of neonatal specialists. The NICU is staffed by highly trained physicians and nurses who have specialty training in care for these newborns.
