Comprehensive Care

At the Lenox Hill Medicine Primary Care Practice, we provide primary care with an emphasis on preventive medicine, as well as address acute and chronic medical illnesses. We work with our patients, as a partner in wellness, to address medical problems as they arise, while helping to build a healthy lifestyle to prevent future problems..

Primary Care/Wellness - We provide routine physical exams, immunizations, rapid diabetes testing, anticoagulation checks, regular screening for cholesterol, high blood pressure, cardiovascular risk factors, cancers, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV. While emergency walk-ins are welcomed, it is preferred to patients to make an appointment. We will make every attempt possible to see sick patients. If your primary care physician is unavailable, another one of our skilled physicians will assist you.

Cardiology - Our cardiology practice treats the full scope of adult cardiovascular pathology through diagnostic testing. Our physicians specialize in the care of coronary and peripheral vascular disease. Most recently began offering acute and chronic venous disease diagnosis and treatment options.

Rheumatology - We care for patients with arthritis and other rheumatologic diseases.

Nutrition - We help patients with acute and chronic health conditions, like diabetes, kidney disease, cancer and gastrointestinal disorders, make healthy food decisions through medical nutrition therapy (MNT). With MNT, our nutritionist devises a unique diet for patients based on their medical and psychosocial history, physical examination, functional examination and dietary history. This plan helps reduce the risk of developing complications from acute and chronic conditions.

Endocrinology - We specialize in treating patients with diabetes, thyroid problems and other endocrinologic problems. We offer on-site rapid testing to screen diabetes, as well as set up therapeutic treatment options for patients.

Hematology - We recently opened an anticoagulation clinic where we provide care to patients with blood clotting and bleeding disorders, as well as anemias and other non-malignant blood disorders. We also have on-site anticoagulation checks.

Lupus Center of Excellence - We recently added the Lupus Center of Excellence to our robust medical practice. This internationally known center specializes in new advancements lupus treatment and research.
